How do i apply my liquid lipstick?

We advise allowing product 5-10 minutes of full drying time. Lips must be hydrated and wiped clean of any product before use. We do not advise using our liquid lipsticks on lips that are chapped, peeling, or extremely dry. Claire Noir Beauty lipsticks are VERY matte and can be drying without proper preparation. We recommend exfoliating with a lip scrub and moisturizing lips prior to application. 

Order confirmations can sometimes take up to 24 hours to receive due to high demand. If you have not received your order confirmation E-mail after 24 hours, please contact us at customerservice@clairenoirbeauty.com  or our live chat with your inquiry.

 How do I know if my order has been shipped?

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail. Tracking information will be attached to invoice or email will follow shortly. The majority of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. The e-mail will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the USPS or UPS site. To track the order, click on the tracking number provided in the email 24-48 hours after you receive the tracking number for an update. If the tracking has not updated, please do not call the Post Office. They will not have any additional information to provide you. Sometimes tracking does not update right away. This does not mean your order has not shipped. It simply means the post office has not scanned the package. Please allow up to 5-7 business days (USA) for your order to arrive after you received the tracking number.

International orders may take 15-20 business days to arrive. If this time has passed, and your order has not been delivered, please email us at customerservice@clairenoirbeauty.com (We do not ship internationally at this time). 

At times, you may receive a tracking number after normal business hours or during the weekend. This means your order has been processed and will be shipped the next business day.

If you have not received an email with your tracking number after 3 business days, please check your junk/spam inbox and then contact us. Shipping emails are sent to the email address you entered at checkout when placing your order. Please be sure to enter the correct email address at checkout.

Also, please be sure your mailing address is complete and correct (including apt and house numbers) as we may not be able to change your address once the order is completed.


What shipping method do you use?

We ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) with delivery or signature confirmation. We offer First Class shipping (3-7 business days), and Priority Mail (2-3 business days). International orders may take up to 15 business days or longer to arrive. You may track your order by visiting www.USPS.com.

The US Postal Service does not guarantee the delivery date and time of your package for standard/ first class mail. Guarantees are only available with Priority Mail. First-Class can take 3-7 days longer than normal to deliver during the holidays (especially during the month of December). Claire Noir Beauty is not responsible or liable for any US Postal Service errors during transit, including damage and loss of package, and for any "reasonable" delay beyond our advertised delivery time-frames.

How is my order processed?

All orders are processed and shipped on business days only, Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. *Orders placed after 3pm PST will be processed the following business day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday, after normal business hours or Holidays will be processed on the next business day. Most orders are processed with 24-48 hours after receipt. Longer delays may apply depending on volume and time of year. Your confirmation email from Claire Noir Beauty will indicate an actual processing time frame.

What will happen if my package is undeliverable to my address?

First, please check the status of the tracking number provided to you. If it states your package is undeliverable, please email us at customerservice@clairenoirbeauty.com and we will instruct you on how to proceed. If we get your package in the mail, we will contact you via email to request an updated shipping address so that we can resend it to you. A small return shipping fee will be invoiced to you to cover return shipping costs due to the invalid/undeliverable address provided to us. This will need to be paid prior to us re-shipping your package. Please be sure to enter your address correctly to avoid delays in receiving your order.

Does Claire Noir Beauty ship cosmetics worldwide?

Yes.  We are working to reach more customers! All shipments to USA addresses are sent via USPS. Please be sure your military address is complete and correct. Due to military handling time, delivery to some destinations may take up to 21 days. Claire Noir Beauty is not responsible for fees relating to importing goods to your country.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept payments via PayPal in US Dollars. Major Credit Cards, Apple Pay and Amazon Pay.  PayPal allows customers to pay using their credit and debit cards, PayPal account balances, and bank accounts securely without sharing your personal information. Please be sure your billing and shipping address match your card to avoid delays.

**Please note PayPal” E-Check” payments take an additional 5 business days to process. Your order will not ship until payment is verfied and cleared. 

 What is your return/exchange policy?

 We are not responsible for variations in skin tone, computer screens or lighting in which photos are taken. Because skin shades and undertones of lips vary, we are not responsible for this variation. Our photos should be used as a guide only, not a guarantee. For more information, please read about lip undertones and their impact on lip color. 

 Are you Vegan? Cruelty free?

All of our cosmetics are 100% Vegan. Products not Vegan contain Carmine which is a red-dye derived from crushed beetles found in many products. For that reason, you may find that they are dubbed "vegan friendly" instead.

 Special Email offers and promotions

Offers and promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated within.  Offers are generated specific to the recipient and are not resealable or transferable.  We have the right to refuse the use of an offer or promotion for any reason.  

 What if my order is incorrect or is missing an item?

While we try our best to process your order as quickly as possible, sometimes human errors can occur in fulfilling an order. Other times, the merchandise may be damaged during the shipping process. In these situations we want to do everything we can to fix the error as quickly as possible. If we made an error in the fulfillment of your order (e.g. you received an item you did not order), follow the instructions below.

Depending on the item you ordered and the time of year, we may be able to ship the correct item immediately. In other cases that may not be possible. The customer service representative responding to your claim will let you know what we can do and the time frame in which we can do it. In either case, we will need the incorrect item returned to us in new, sealed and unused condition. Please see our Return Policy for more details about returning your package.

All items are thoroughly checked and weighed prior to shipping. If an item is damaged, missing pieces or wrong item sent in shipping, please contact us within 24 hours from the date you received the package. Please be sure you checked the entire contents of your package, including the tissue paper as items may be wrapped. If you do not contact us within 24 hours, Claire Noir Beauty will not be responsible for the items.

*We reserve the right not to accept certain damaged items. We have no control of the weather. Please do not leave lipstick in direct heat for a long period of time.


After my order is submitted, can I make changes to it or cancel it?

No, once you place an order it is final.

Additional information regarding orders

We reserve the right to refuse to process and order due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity. If such is the case, we may reject your order. Our customer service department may email you at the email address you provided to confirm your order. We also reserve the right to cancel any accounts or refuse to ship to certain addresses due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity. To avoid delays, please be sure your name, billing and shipping address matches the card you are using. We reserve the right to cancel any order using any promotion or promotional code, at our sole discretion. If any order cancellation occurs you will be credited in full for the cancelled order(s) and your order will not be shipped. We take these measures to protect our customers as well as ourselves from fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.

Placing An Order

How do I order online?

1. Add product(s) to your order by selecting a product and quantity, choose "add to cart."
2. Your total order amount will appear in your shopping cart, where you can click "Checkout or click on X to Continue Shopping."  
3. When you press check out simply log in to your account (if you have one) or fill out the required shipping and billing information and press submit order.
4. We'll process your order within 1-2 business days; you get an immediate e-mail that confirms your order.


ITEM AVAILABILITY

Item Availability / Temporarily Out of Stock
If an item is temporarily out of stock at the time of your order, you can expect Two to Three weeks before that item is restocked. Also, items out of stock will not allow you to purchase at this time.

Please be assured that you will not be charged for any item until it is shipped. If for any reason you wish to cancel a back ordered item prior to its shipment, please contact us or visit our live chat and we will be happy to assist you.

Maximum Purchase Policy
We regret that we must limit orders to no more than six (6) units of any item with a maximum purchase of $300 per customer.  Orders exceeding these limits are subject to cancellation. If you have any questions please contact us at our live website chat and we will be happy to assist.

COUPON CODES

To redeem a coupon code, simply enter your code in the text box marked "Coupon Code" on the Billing page during the Checkout process.

When an offer code is accepted, it will be displayed on the Order Review page.

Important Notes: One (1) Coupon Code may be used per order. Promotional offers and discounts may not be applied to the purchase of ClaireNoir Gift Cards or eGift Cards except as otherwise noted.

What is Sezzle?

Sezzle allows you to pay for your purchase over four equal installments, due every two weeks, without any interest. This payment option is only available on US orders. You’ll pay your first installment at the time of purchase, and the remainder over time.

Payment Authorization
All purchases are subject to bank authorization prior to processing. Only authorized purchases will be processed and shipped.

Payment Authorization Holds
When placing an order using a credit card or debit card, two transactions will be posted to your account. 

• The issuing bank for your payment card will place a hold on the funds in your account in the amount of your purchase when an order is authorized. This action reserves the funds for the pending charge.

You will subsequently be charged for the order which removes the funds from your account. The charge may vary from the amount of the authorization hold if items within the order are not shipped.

• If an order is canceled, the authorization hold will be removed by the issuing bank. For details on the removal of authorization holds, please contact the issuing bank’s customer service. Because this process is specific to each bank, we regret that we cannot provide assistance with the removal of authorization holds."

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you would like to cancel an online order after it has been placed, please contact us by phone at customerservice@clairenoirbeauty.com within one hour of placement. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Once an order is processing, we regret that it cannot be changed or canceled.

Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are canceled for various reasons. Some reasons are:
Item(s) are not available
Difficulty in processing payment information
Cannot ship to the address provided
A duplicate order was placed
By customer request
Purchase limits have been exceeded

If your order is canceled, you will receive an email to advise you. You will not be billed for any canceled items. If you have questions about a canceled order, please contact our Online Service Experts at 1.800-884-8283 or via email."
